The three names that were associated with the emails were 'xfur', 'maxis', and 'louis mason'.
If you see those, just yeet them into the sun. It's a copypaste email that was spam-blasted to numerous furry YouTubers at random.
The protest that never was:
A rumor and a blog were making the rounds on Twitter apparently someone named Louis Mason wanted to protest Anthrocon. It was canceled because of the rain... It didn't rain if I remember correctly. The only way to view the blog is by the Wayback Machine. It is hard to find much of Mr. Mason. Since the account of Xfur and Louis Mason were used to spam the same message it is safe to assume that at least they know each other or could be another account used by Maxis.

Alexander J. Smith
Alex Smith is another name that Maxis uses. The GP by Alex are not Guest post. The only guest post is the repost from Pauls's Passing Thoughts. If you read the post "Anthrocon: Follow the money | UPDATE" you will find a video titled "interesting".
The video was posted July 21st, 2017 the earliest blog post on xfur is from April of 2018. If you look at the channel with the name Maxis and click the about section you will find a blog titled Truth Research Journal. That is what Alex called his blog before he moved and again Wayback caught him. He had a twitter @alex_smith1968 but it has since been deleted.

Besides Paul D'oh Maxis has also messaged another internet preacher. Apparently, Maxis is going around emailing people to "warn" them about furry degeneracy.
