So what have we learned? This man is a cult leader that even though he pretends he is against it. he acts like a tyrant. The man clearly suffers from some kind of mental issue such as Narcissistic personality disorder. While I do not work in mental health I think by behavior alone it is obvious. He calls out many people but when someone does it to him in his twisted mind he is right. He is the dipshit that gets mad when you punch him after he slaps you.
He claims to be peer approved in a comment I saw even bragging about Ph.D.'s that cite his work. When asked for proof he didn't respond. And I couldn't find any sources to the clam of him being peer approved which isn't a thing as far as I know. I believe the term is peer-reviewed again couldn't find that and I strongly doubt he knows what that even means. Paul just because someone with a degree agrees with you doesn't mean anything. A Ph.D. in philosophy doesn't mean they can do brain surgery Plus smart people can and do believe in dumb things. So yea... Failed flex in my opinion.
He is basically at the same level of research as Kent Hovind just without the charm. His blog in many ways is a vent for personal problems that he can't deal with. Lose a court case he furries are evil. Kicked out of a church. They are tyrants because it is never his fault. To quote GEazy:
If you're mad well too bad, sounds like a personal issue
So to sum up he is a deranged violent fundie cult leader in the middle of Ohio that runs a blog as a safe space to keep his views from being challenged. Because different options are dangerous and might lead to growth. And he is basically your typical boomer grandfather sharing memes on FB and Twitter that... Are clearly fake and debunkable... Months of research and digging lead me to these conclusions. I have dealt with people like this as I have said I am a sadist that love reading this stuff because I love to suffer. This has been really intersting and it all started with this comment by The Raving Moose:
Any logical person reads his posts and dismisses it as a ranting older man with views brought to you by the pokemon scare of the 90’s. In his ravings about furry fandom being a cult, I feel like he is adamantly defending his own cult. He shuns organized churches, and opts out for a home “fellowship” where his views can be left unchallenged by his herd of sheep and yes-men. We trust doctors to heal our bodies, and therapists to heal our minds, because of the years of training they have had, and a standard set before us by law. He believes he is above these standards, and since he has a God complex a mile wide, he believes his arrogance can heal the world. He tries to use the argument that there is a difference between churches and Christians, and though I agree with him on that small point, having been abused by churches myself, but been treated kindly by some Christians. However, the world doesn’t see the difference, just like he doesn’t see the difference between a collective furry community over the actions of a few rogue members. His bigoted view comes from a place were all bigotry is born, unadmitted ignorance. Though I do not know him personally, just through his hate filled rhetoric, one can definitely make the assumption that he is indeed someone who has been wronged by not only by the church, but by an individual furry, basing his entire cult around revenge and bitterness. His books are self published, a fact that can easily be checked through the internet, so his boasting about being a published author has little impact on his validity. By reading his responses, when backed into a corner he resorts to insults or threats, which is indicative of the personality of a school yard bully, you know the ones that lack intelligence but make up for it in vanity and violence. He threatens to take this information to the “family law professionals” , but without credentials to back it up, his little propaganda pamphlets will be tossed straight into the trash. The long and short of my rant is, Paul Dohse is a scared hurt little man, that is over compensating for some bad luck (or a personal inadequacy) he has had with community’s in the past, so he thinks being a keyboard warrior will actually make a difference. Another preacher even has commented on his views in the past, questioning his beliefs, and Paul’s response was to threaten to “come after him.” He seems to have a lot of courage for someone hiding behind a computer like a shield. He is going to end up pissing off the wrong person, and since he is stupid enough to divulge his real world location across multiple social media outlets, he is going to end up coming face to face with his online targets, and they won’t be as nice as the “mean ol furries” he has met online. He is the epitome of pathetic over compensation and the avatar of saltiness. End rant.
So a quick update about me.
I have spent way to much time on this. When I find something of interest I will go overboard with it. So I am taking a few month breaks from Mr. D'oh, Dubb Mutt, and this whole blog to focus on better things. It didn't feel like a wast to time I feel it helped learn some new skills but I want to do something more constructive. I will check messages every so often but will leave this blog for a couple of months. I need a break I've been doing this since late September-October 2019.
Here are a couple of intersting videos on the topic by Labb Ratt and Glitch:
Be sure of this: whether cults or predatory subcultures, their worst nightmare is the internet and the way it empowers individuals. -P. D'oh
